Birdwatching can be a hobby, but if you're conducting bird banding, proper training and permits are required in advance.

Instructor Patti is always so strict... Every time Cassie tries to sneak out for birdwatching with me, it has to be on the sly.
Ah, speaking of which, the Forest is a great area for birdwatching. Feel free to explore it when you have time. Cassie would be thrilled to have you.

Migratory birds sometimes need specialized pilots to guide them... Speaking of which, my aircraft components still aren't ready. Sigh.

The beach is dotted with colorful little ducks, and a big yellow duck is floating on the sea.
Haha, when it comes to ducks, I'm more familiar with mallards and wigeons.

As for Grimkin Night, everything I know comes from Joan's fairytales.
Stories like Journey of Grimkins, Wizards Vs. Werewolves, talking Cats... and such.
I used to believe them deeply as a child, but looking back now...
Ha, haha, only kids would believe in wingmen from another world, right?

How do I spend snowy days? I'm not too bothered by the cold, so I just carry on as usual.
As for the woolen hat... ahem, Joan insisted on giving it to me.
I've just gotten used to wearing it, that's all.

With the Spring Festival here, Joan has been smiling more than usual.
She rarely talks about it, but I know that ancient eastern country holds a special place in her heart.
Maybe her feelings are rubbing off on me? Even I'm growing curious about that land I've never visited.

Just now I saw a very beautiful stock dove, unlike any other—truly one of a kind.
It perched on the windowsill, tilting its head to look at me, and I felt we were having a silent conversation.
But it soon flew away, and that moment felt like just a figment of my imagination.
Though it was just a small, unimportant thing—just that.

Have you seen the new pandas in the Forest? I heard there's one called Meng Lan that always has a bird buddy by its side.
Hmm, I wonder what it is about Meng Lan and Blanc that makes birds gravitate toward them?
I'll definitely observe and research this next time.

Do penguins fly like other birds?
They share many traits with birds—feathers, beaks, and laying eggs.
But compared to most birds that soar through the sky, penguins are masters of "flying" underwater.

Those stray birds look like they've been flying against the wind for too long—completely worn out.
I thought it'd be better to let them find a safe spot to recover instead of rushing in to help.
But the forest only has so much to offer. For the sake of Whale Island's balance, setting up an emergency rest stop for them makes sense.
