Mysterious Grimkin Host Guide
Looks like you're the unlucky one possessed by a Mysterious Grimkin this round. Thanks to its influence, you'll need to stay out of the Investigative Journalist's sight. Be careful—don't let them catch you with that drone!
During the mischief phase, use the Transform skill to change your current look. Use the Split skill to leave behind a replica of your current form somewhere in the home.
Once the mischief phase ends, both factions get reset to new positions, and the hunting phase begins. You'll enter a temporary stealth mode—make sure to find a good hiding spot fast. If you don't, the Investigative Journalist will have an easy time spotting you once stealth wears off.
During the hunting phase, stay as hidden as you can. Use Lock to anchor your current position, then use Grimkin Drift to temporarily leave your host and look around. While in Grimkin Drift, your host's actual position stays where you locked it.
If an Investigative Journalist catches you, the Mysterious Grimkin gets temporarily expelled, and the Grimkin Link gets weakened. But before the party ends, the Mysterious Grimkin will try to possess the host again. If it succeeds, you'll re‑enter stealth mode. Make sure you hide better this time!
If your Grimkin Link has been weakened, don't stress too much. Just be patient and wait for a Psionic Bubble to appear. Popping it will give your link a boost.
To win, prevent the Grimkin Link from reaching zero before the party time runs out.
